May contact the young lady who owns the magazine now. I know of several not receiving it. Nothing personal against her, but don’t see myself renewing

Hey Ericwaddle3
Are you sure you're not thinking of Hounds and Hunting / Better Beagling?
I know a young lady owns that publication. Don't know who owns the American Beagler these days.

She owns them all. Combined the Hounds and Hunting and Better Beagle, as most know. Haven’t subscribed to it in a couple years Considered getting it again but after hearing a lot of displeasure among subscribers and the new American Beagle problems, I’m having seconds thoughts. Really just like having something to read though.

I do miss the old better beagling, I haven't held a subscription since the change.

Beagling is not a science, just an opinion!

I agree, but since the original change. The website forum was good too.

When she bought both magazines, H&H was the stronger of the two. She attempted to combine them, but the Better Beagling supporters all pulled out and went to Facebook. The UBGF and MAB people still support H&H. The hare and Midwest guys didn't want their hounds mixed in with slower hounds. In this day and time, with all the competition from the Internet, there is not enough content and advertising for two print magazines, but everyone could play together and make one really nice magazine...if they would.

Thanks Dana. I didn’t know. When I looked, it says I am not authorized to read messages on hold. What does that mean?

Sent you a private message. I've sent lots of folks private messages over the years and never had an issue so I have no idea what a message "on hold" is or any thing about authorization. Sorry.

Hello, everyone. We are having a problem with the deletion of old messages. When an inbox gets full, it won't automatically delete the old (as was set) or allow you to manually delete messages. I have Chris Working on this. Meanwhile, I noticed the permitted number of messages was set to 30. I changed it to 100 so your new messages will come through and you can read them. Bear in mind, if you fill up the 100 limit you will be back to the same problem (unless we can get it fixed) so be judicial about communicating that way.

So glad this board is till going, but the script behind it started back in 2003, so ... fingers crossed.

Thanks for still Talkin' Dawgs here. american beagler - The American Beagler Forum (5)
